Before I started selling on Etsy, I was a mom (and part-time college student), and wife to a US Navy Airman. Being a military spouse with (then) 3 small kids meant embracing the stay at home mom life.
I started exploring the idea of building a small craft business for myself (side hustle wasn’t a word back then), which eventually led me to start my first Etsy store in 2009!
Imagine how surprised we were when my ‘little’ business started making more than our military paychecks! We were soon able to leave military life behind for full-time entrepreneurship…
… Hitting six figures as we grew and expanded beyond Etsy to other entrepreneurial ventures- and then even passive seven figures!
There were a lot of bumps and bruises along that journey. But in the end, I felt called to help others build their own paths to success.
That’s why I created InsightsByJess: a place to share productivity strategies, tools, and insights that empower busy entrepreneurs to work smarter, not harder.
